The bill for the general revision of the copyright law was put before the 93d Congress with the introduction of S. 1361 on March 26, 1973, by Senator John L. McClellan, chairman of the Subcommittee on Patents, Trademarks, and Copyrights of the Senate Harmonized Committee.
